As we move into spring and try to “lighten” things up – this Bulletproof Green Tea Matcha Latte may be just what your body needs!

Jumpstart your day with this healthy green tea latte that is loaded with brain-boosting fats and the antioxidant power of green tea. (NOTE: The recipe calls for a tsp of cinnamon which tastes great BUT it does change the color of the Latte from a spring green to a muddy tan — so if you are wanting to create a latte like the photo – leave out the cinnamon).

Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup dairy-free milk (both almond or coconut work well)
2 scoops collagen peptides powder
1-2 tsp matcha green tea powder
1/2 tsp ghee
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp MCT oil
**1 tsp cinnamon  – optional – see my note above.

Instructions:

Bring water as close to boiling without actually boiling it. Add the rest of the ingredients to a high powered blender.
Once the water is nearly boiling – pour into a blender, turn on high to blend – about 45 seconds. (I use a Vita-Mix and it’s well blended in 20 seconds on high). Pour into glass or mug and top with a sprinkle of matcha green tea powder or cinnamon.
